Bold Recovery's vision is to deliver impactful learning opportunities to older teens and adults, equipping them to mitigate the impact of substances and violence.

Training

Bold Recovery has trained consultants who provide training and development opportunities for youth and adults, in house or on location. Participants may receive Continuing Education Units, or CEUs, upon completion of training. Our team has expertise in the following areas: 

Age 15 - 18 Learners

  • Opioid Overview w/ a focus on Fentanyl Awareness (30-60 minutes) 

  • Opioids Overview with a focus on Fentanyl and Overdose Reversals Training with Narcan/Naloxone (2.5 hours)

  • Substances/Drug Education (Prevention)

  • Teen Dating Violence

  • Internet Bullying

  • Cultural Awareness, Worldview, Implicit Bias

  • Pronouns, Families, & Workplace

Adult Learners

Meet the Trainer

With more than 18 years of experience working in substance use, counseling, non-profit organizations, and training and development opportunities, Pauletta Pierce brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to delivering learning that empowers youth and adults to change and possibly save lives. Her education includes a Certificate of Psychology in Human Services with a Substance Abuse Speciality from 
LACC, and certifications as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II-CA (CADC II-CA), Domestic Violence training, and First Aid and CPR.
